How to make a retreat booking and payment to confirm your place

A deposit is required at time of booking. If you would prefer to do a bank transfer, please contact to discuss. Bank details are below:

Once your deposit is received, you will receive written confirmation of your place on the Retreat. The balance of the payment is due 90 days prior (unless otherwise stated) to the commencement of the Retreat. For bookings made within 90 days of a Retreat, full payment will be required immediately. If payment is not received by the due date, Pure Wellness Tasmania reserves the right to cancel your place on the trip and retain your deposit.

Refunds, changes and cancellation fees

General cancellations – All cancellations and changes to bookings must be made in writing to Pure Wellness Tasmania – rebecca@purewellnesstasmania.com.

Deposit paid on booking is non-refundable

For cancellation less than 90 days prior to the Retreat, 100% of total price is retained

The above cancellation charges will be applied in all cases. In the event that a Retreat needs to be cancelled or rescheduled by Pure Wellness Tasmania, a full refund will be provided.

Passports and Trip Documents (for international trips only)

All participants must have a passport to travel internationally. Passports much be valid for at least six months beyond the conclusion of the trip. Pure Wellness Tasmania may require your passport details a minimum of 60 days before a Retreat for all international travel. It is the participant’s responsibility to obtain and have in their possession proper and valid documentation required for entry and departure for each country in which they travel. Participants are solely responsible for the cost incurred during travel for missing, incomplete or defective documentation. Pure Wellness Tasmania is not liable for any loss or expense incurred due to loss, damage or errant entry, exit or travel documentation.

What’s included in your Retreat price

Accommodation, and materials, some meals, activities and land transfers (as indicated) and some drinks as specified in your itinerary. There are no reductions for participants who join the tour late or leave early.

 Not included

Airfares. All items of a personal nature – room service, beverages (except for those specified), telephone charges, laundry, special food requests (not previously organised with Pure Wellness Tasmania), taxis, transfers not specified in the itinerary, meals not specified in the itinerary.

Insurance

Travel insurance to cover against illness or accident, cancellation, loss of luggage etc.  on international tours is mandatory and must be sighted by Pure Wellness Tasmania.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for retreats in Australia.

Illness

Pure Wellness Tasmania reserves the right to remove or quarantine participants if they show signs of illness, or pose a threat to the safety and health of other participants. Any costs incurred for medical assessments, diagnosis and/or medically related charges are the responsibility of the participant to pay.

Single Participants

Many of our Retreats are offered on a twin share basis. For those participants requiring twin share and not travelling with a companion we will endeavour to match you with another participant. However, if we are unable to provide a companion for you to share with, a single supplement may apply.

Photography / Videography

Throughout the Retreats we will be taking photos and video to use on our website, Facebook page, Instagram and other promotional materials for Pure Wellness Tasmania. In attending this Retreat, you agree and acknowledge that your image and likeness may be used in future promotional material for Pure Wellness Tasmania. If you do not wish for your photos or video to be taken, please let us know via email before your Retreat at rebecca@purewellnesstasmania.com

Changes to the Retreat itinerary and Minimum Numbers

Pure Wellness Tasmania reserves the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary or change reservations and features without notice. Pure Wellness Tasmania reserves the right to cancel the Retreat should it not reach minimum numbers.  Before booking flights for an international adventure, please confirm with Pure Wellness Tasmania that minimum numbers have been reached.

Alcohol and Drugs

We do not tolerate drug use of any kind during our Retreats and we require responsible alcohol consumption, for your safety and that of those around you.

You will comply with the laws of all countries visited. Failure to abide by this provision may result in immediate termination of your trip without a refund or other liability by us, our local partners or agents.

Privacy

Pure Wellness Tasmania is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected is done so in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Waiver

Pure Wellness Tasmania does not accept liability for failure on the part of transportation companies, hotels, contractors and other principles whose responsibility is confined to their own operations.

Pure Wellness Tasmania accept no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delays or changes in schedules, flight cancellations or missed connections due to mechanical problems, sickness, quarantine, weather, strikes, government actions, war, terrorism, pandemics or other circumstances beyond its control.  Participants must bear all such losses or expenses.

All participants indemnify Pure Wellness Tasmania against any responsibility for accident, loss, death or injury suffered during the course of the Retreat, including transport to and from the Retreat.
